Art Shelter takes great care in preparing and delivering artwork to collectors worldwide. Below is an overview of our shipping policies, timelines, and options.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
Most domestic orders are shipped within 5–10 business days of payment confirmation. Delivery typically takes an additional 3–7 business days depending on your location and the size of the piece.
- Standard insured shipping is included for works under $2,500.
- Large-format or high-value works may require custom crating and white-glove delivery.
- Tracking information is provided once your order ships.
International Shipping
We ship internationally to many countries. International orders may take 2–4 weeks for delivery after processing. Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Packaging & Handling
All artwork is professionally packed using acid-free materials, corner protectors, and reinforced crates where necessary. Canvases are wrapped and boxed; framed works receive additional protective layers. Our team works with specialized art handlers for fragile or oversized pieces.
Gallery Pickup
Collectors may arrange in-gallery pickup at no additional charge. Please contact us to schedule a pickup time. Valid ID and proof of purchase are required at collection.
Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated based on artwork dimensions, weight, destination, and insurance value. A detailed quote is provided before finalizing your purchase. Promotional free-shipping offers, when available, apply to select works only.
Damage or Loss
All shipments are fully insured. If your artwork arrives damaged, please document the packaging and artwork with photographs and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
